Time for an update =)

Ok... so... its been awhile =)

kinda lots to update... but once again, i dunno where to start.

Lets start with thanking Ben ^^
Even though i haven updated my blog for so so long le... u still came by to congrats me.
So... Thank you Ben =)

And what is Ben congratulating me for?
Well... i'm getting MARRIED! keke... unexpected huh.

I once said i'll never get married! Marriage is just a piece of paper... it serves no purpose and as long as a couple is happy together... i dun see the need for that paper. What's the point of getting married now and then divorce in future? Waste of time and $$.
To be honest, i still believe so much so. But! Dun jump into conclusions yet... continue reading...

But... i'm still jumping into this marriage thingy.. because i love my Baby~
Believe me when i say i din or for that matter she din force me into this... it is all by my own will... and i know that she is THE ONE! (Matrix)... and that is why i wouldn't mind spending the time and $$ to marry her... coz i know for sure there'll be no divorce. I understand that it is a must for her, and so yea, i popped the question =)

Now then... preparing for the big day.
It's no easy matter... and of coz... Baby is da 1 doing most of the researching and all. I'm just slacking around.. playing wow and watching tv while she's at it. Well that doesn't mean i'm not interested! I just dun feel the urge yet... coz its still rather far away for me. Hey i went everywhere with her and gave constructive comments ok! keke~

15th May 2010 will be our Big Day.

So of these 3, which would you prefer?

Before this week, i'd have no preference... i'd just go browse books and see if they're available anot... if not just go to the other ones.. that was what i always do.
But something changed my thinking this week...

I bought a book from Times (Plaza Sing) on Tues... been wanting a new book to read... and i'm always at Plaza Sing every Tues for my Guitar class, so might as well buy from Times. But i couldn't find what i want.. and so i settled for 1 of my favourite movies.. Black Hawk Down. Ripped the book open and read it the next morning only to find the 1st few pages with a shadow behind the words. At 1st i thought i so young kenna "Lao Hua"... so i asked my colleague to confirmed if it's the words ;D

And yes, it was the words... and so i decided to go back to Times to change it. I was there yesterday... and as i expected, it was the last copy of the book, not only at Plaza outlet.. but the whole of Times. Had no choice, so i browsed around for another book to replace it but couldn't find anything that interest me. So i went to the counter and asked if i can get a refund, but she said she cannot decide and the manager is out for break. She then asked me to ANYHOW take any magazines of anything else to that 20bucks amount for an exchange. Wasn't really happy about that suggestion... but i still smiled and asked her to check a book for me. "Vampire Wars" is also out of stock throughout Times (wtf.. i'm so sure Kinokuniya have them). She then said she can help me order the book if i'm not in a hurry for the exchange, and so i said ok... please order for me.. it's not urgent. She then said the computer is doing a stock take now and cannot place any order now... THEN WHY DA FUCK YOU SUGGEST!?

I then decided i want a refund and waited for the manager to come back. I got my refund in the end... so the case was closed. But what i've learned from this experience is... i'll never go back to Times to look for books that i want anymore. I'd rather make the trouble to go Kino or Borders... atleast i know they definitely have them there -_-

The Painted Man

The Painted Man.

I've just finished this book 2 days ago, i'd say i was 1st drawn to it by the cover and the Book's name. But i'm glad i read it, it's the 1st book of a trilogy from what i found out on the net.

The book is about a world where the night belongs to demons and humans hide behind the protection of Wards as all kinds of demons spawn from the earth at night. This book tells of a boy, who lost his mother to the demons and believes that people can and should be fighting the demons instead of cowering behind the safety of their wards praying that it will not fail to hold the demons back. And so he begins his quest to roam the world starting out as a Messenger.

I find it interesting as the writer creates this world from our present world we're living in, in a way i find him scrutinizing the conflicts around our world now, though very subtle. I'd recommend this book to readers who like fantasies and i'd rate it four stars =)

Another series i finished was "The Chronicles of Malus Darkblade".

I dun remember whether i posted an entry about it, i believe i did. It's a 5 books series of dark tales of betrayal and fantasy adventure. A 5 star series for me =)

Going to go onto Vampire Wars next ;D

Initials...

Recently i see some ppl posting their entries with Initials of their friends' names only. I seriously wonder WHY!?
What's wrong with spelling out their fullname? Too lazy to type? Too embarrassed to let ppl know ur going out with these ppl (-.-)? Or trying to protect their identity (they spies or field agents from CIA or Homeland Security?)...

I see some ppl even go to the extend of adding numbers behind the Initials... coz too many friends name starts with the same letter... so it goes like this example below..

"i was clubbing with G3 and H23 today and found out that K901 has broken off with her bf T73..."

Ya.. i think that will happen if u ever have 901 friends with name starting with K...
So my qn is... do u load-up a legend on ur blog telling ur friends which numbers they belong to? or are they suppose to guess...
Then how abt the readers, are they expected to remember who is K901 and who is K109? -.-

Nevertheless, this seems to be the trend now...
I should start posting my entries with Initials too!!!

1st Guitar Lesson

WooT... Yesterday was my 1st Guitar lesson with Yamaha!
My class consist of 8 ppl~

Edmund (Hongkie)
Cassandra (no introduction made)
Delphine (French lady)
Martin (an Indian boy i already dislike)
Jesper (looks like ah beng)
Benjamin (St. Gabriel's nerd)
Glenn (spoilt rich brat)

Instructor: Mr. Romizad.

Keke.. din learn much... only some Fingering exercise and a Major E Chord.
Bought a tuner to tune my Fiona(my guitar) which cost me 22bucks. The clip-on tuner costs 160bucks... WTF!

Fiona:
yes.. i named my Guitar Fiona... coz it's make is Fina. ;D
Since it's gonna be my new mistress, i might as well name her Fiona =)

Indian boy i already dislike:
YES! I dislike him! After 5mins of sitting beside him... i feel like slapping him!
Bloody inconsiderate bastard is from Yuhua sec. He was sitting beside me in class to my left... and the French lady to my right. B4 the class starts... he was strumming his guitar away... (din irritate me as i was just relaxing 1 corner).
But when Mr. Romi starts the class, he was still strumming away... even when Mr. Romi is speaking. Mr. Romi wanted to share with us how to tune our guitar... wat exact tune are we looking for when we strum this particular string.. and that inconsiderate bastard is still strumming away. WTF man! The French lady keep looking at him... but din say anything.
To the end of the class, when Mr. Romi is tell us to practice at home and teaching us something, as usual the bastard is still strumming away. I couldn't take it anymore and said...
"excuse me! do u mind?"
He then apologize and said what it was his 1st time strumming and blah blah... well fuck yea... its our 1st time too but we dun strum when the instructor is speaking! Idiot! grr...

He better keep quiet next lesson or i think i'll burst at him! RAAHHHH!!!!!!

I'm Sorry... again...

I'm sorry to upset u again baby...
I just thought i can pour it out and not bottle it up inside me.

I'd nv QQ to an Officer... becoz i know as an officer, how it feels like to have ppl QQ-ing all over.
And although i know if i dun voice it out to them, they will nv change anything... But i really am tired of them not taking my suggestions into considerations. Its not about how many times or ingame or face to face. Its about their mindset at that moment of time.

Anyways... i dun wanna quarrel with u over WoW all da time. If u dun wanna hear my QQs... den i wont in future lar. I will still continue to stay quiet in guild...

Also, i am lazy. I've nv denied that. Infact i posted it in my Personality entry. But i'll nv be lazy if i'm ever interested or think that the matter is worth to go for.

Once again... sorry about it.
If i ever subconciously start to QQ to u... just tell me to stop.
