Sharon Pakir's Spinning Workshop

WooT! Actually not as packed as i xpected it to be... i was expecting myself to be squeezed out of the studio... but apparently the studio was able to accomodate every1 there...

The workshop... i'd say its enlightening. I now know what are the drills i can do to improve my spinning.. and trust me, i'm so gonna do them! At home, at work and maybe on the streets =X

I've absorbed alot of technique related stuffs, but i din get a nice spin @ the workshop, mainly i wasn't comfortable with the way Sharon do her prep... i prefer the 1 i learnt from Luv. And there wasn't much space to spin... i'm too afraid to spin n hit some else =X

Sharon... she's a fun instructor~ smiling throughout the workshop keke~ ^^
And she also made us smile through the workshop... haha. It's like whenever she says.. "Basic" our reaction has to be "arms up, body straight, shoulders back, chin up and SMILE!" imagine doing those things just to react to a simple word "Basic" keke~

Overall, its a great workshop! Gain lots from her... well worth the 35bucks imo... Please dun shun me if u see me spinning outta nowhere (waiting for a bus or the MRT)... i'm not crazy, i'm perfectly fine ;D

Summer Splash 2008~

WooT! Good music! Ok crowd! SUPERB PERFORMANCE!!!!!
20bucks is just WAY TOO CHEAP for this partay~~~~

I've totally enjoyed myself that night... it was great music all night long! I had to "service" all the gals there... so i actually danced ALOT! (Leon wasn't there as he went to Bangkok... so i'm the only "prostitute" left)

The dancefloor started to get crowded around 9++.. but that didn't stop us from bracing the dangerous dancefloor to dance. Lotsa accidents though... i got stomped on my foot by a heel! and some bloody idiot stepped on my ankle vein... *argh* i had to stop dancing for awhile to let the pain ease away... =(

I tried my very best to watch out for the dangers around my partner... everywhere i sent her, i look 1st... i've really tried my best! But they were not spared from the stomping and whackings... they were also stomped... and poor Jiahui got elbowed in her head twice (once with me) =X

The performance... OMFG! It was freaking good... there're altogether 10 performances if i remembered correctly... from both ADS and Spincity Dance. Split into 2 timings...
The 1st performance was good... i saw my Rueda classmates perform as they're from the ADS Students team... so cool~
And then followed by the Spincity students team... which was kinda cute~ love it!
3rd 1 if i remember correctly was the 3 gorgeous ladies from ADS... who choreographed their own routine.
And then i cant remember the sequence le... Some peeps left early after the 1st performance... which was WASTED! the 2nd part was so much much better i practically left my mouth open throughout! It was really well worthed the 20bucks... i'd pay 50bucks to come if i knew the performance was this good!

Save Our Salsa Party 19th June '08

WoW... it was quite a success in my opinion. It was the 1st time i see Azzucar so freaking packed!!!!!

Once again... it was like a battlefield on the dancefloor! Totally no space to do anything... i bring my partner here, got 1 big fat lady... i bring my partner the other way.. got a couple doing fancy big steps (in a fucking cramp dancefloor)!

So we kinda end up sitting down and started playing 5-10! haha it was funny... mainly me trying to set ppl up to drink! =X

Another funny conversation we had was this...

Danielle: Johan... when the Wing Sum(pronounced this way at least) come walking to us and invite us(Danielle and Fionana) for a dance... u muz faster pull us away to the dancefloor! Whether we dance or not nvm... juz walk away from here.

Johan: Who is Wing Sum? y u all dun wanna dance with him?

Danielle: the 1 dancing with Viola now... juz take us away if he comes towards us... ok?

Johan: But i.. i can only take 1 girl with me!

Danielle + Fionana burst out laughing...

Fionana: HAHAHAHA this is funny... really funny...

Danielle: eh? ya hor... can only take 1 away...

Johan: DuH~

An Accomplishment!

I've cancelled my WoW Subscription!!! And the account xpires TODAY! WooT!

Let's hope my itchy hand will not renew the subscription... i doubt it will lar!
Major reason behind this is... I have no time for WoW!

WoW: It is a game which requires time commitment... and when i say time commitment.. i practically mean NO LIFE! And i simply cannot commit anymore... major factor being my newly introduced fever... SALSA! I find myself so packed with Salsa events and lessons... i think my weekends are too bloody short!

The other minor reason is... i find myself idling when i'm ingame... running around the city, looking into my bank... thinking "why da fuck m i so poor?" and too lazy to go farm my golds... yes! u got it... in other words... i'm juz too fucking lazy to play!

However, i'm looking forward to RO2sea.. - god knows when it will launch - it is still under the "bug killing process" and have not even started closed beta yet! So i guess in between i have to find something else to hold on to... *looking @ Sealonline*

I need a game... i have nothing else to do @ home.. so yea~
Lets pray i can stay away from WoW once n for all... let us all put our palms together and pray for me... *chants away*

Think i might wanna talk more about myself (haven been doing that if u peeps noticed) and of coz... more Salsa~~ keke!

So lets start of with this week 1st... It's MONDAY! n i already have a super busy schedule ahead.

Monday - Need to buy dance shoes!

Tuesday - Fionanana birthday... gotta head down to Union to celebrate her birthday! Btw... Fionanana is some1 i knew on a salsa forum... and eventually of coz met her @ Union ^^

Wednesday - I guess it's the only real rest day fer me... *hopes nothing comes up that day*

Thursday - Save our Salsa Party @ Azzucar! Organized by DJ Jean, who was previously spinning @ Union until recently. And yea... Salsa parties should never be missed! keke

Friday - I'm hoping this can be another rest day for me... but i doubt so =(

Saturday - *sweat* this is a freaking long day i'd say... 1stly.. i managed to date Shirley out.. to celebrate her belated birthday... so i planned a full day event with her! Let's skip the day events... keke and move on to the evening 1. Saturday.. 21st June... as my previous post.. SUMMER SPLASH!!! And yes.. she's coming with me! keke~

Sunday - Guess most of the class are going to drag their sluggish, tired, lazy and unmovable body to our Salsa lesson...


And there you go... my hectic week.. but it's not gonna end there.. as the following week have more stuffs to come... especially for da ladies ^^ Good luck is all i can say girls~
