Roller Blading @ Eastcoast

WooT!
Yesterday, my company had an outing to Eastcoast... Cycling + Dinner!

FYI, my office all aunties except me ar...
Every month we'll have an outing to somewhere... and yesterday was cycling session @ Eastcoast.

I decided to Blade as cycling... boring lar! I'm noob in blading... although i tried before during my Navy times... but its like dunno how many years le lor... ;D
Anyways... it's Thurs.. so i thought not alot of ppl to see me fall lar... just go ahead n try lar!

B4 i start talking about the blading... let's talk about the gal who wear my blades for me.. ;D
Not bad looking gal lar... i was sitting down outside the rental shop as the guy went to key in my particulars in the system... (i expect him to come wear for me de), then this gal jumped out of nowhere and squat down infront of me, helping me to wear my Blades. I got da Helicopter view from above... WHAHAHAHA! *droolz*

Ok... back to topic.

So i set off... standing up with no problem... they asked me if i needed any guards.. i told them "no.. dun need them" (machiam i very pro like that) then... move outta the shop abit nia... FALL DOWN LE! *paiseh*

Quickly stood up and try to remember how to move... So i started slowly... slowly...... and finally i'm MOVING! keke..
I only remember... bend forward.. dun lock my knee... and push sideways. So i started on this fundamentals...
With this... i bladed all the way from Mac to near Bedok Jetty... (of coz... alot of falls... fell until my hands r scratched and swollen) But hey! i bladed SO FAR all on my own lor...

Up slope is a nitemare sia... i'm so afraid of going down backwards lor... haha! Keep pushing myself upwards... heng i conquered all da slopes...
Settled with dinner @ Jumbo Seafood... and then bladed back to the shop... hoping the same gal will remove my blades for me... sadly... its da guy this time =(

Anyways... its a fulfilling evening... blading on my own so far and back!

This is a show really worth watching! Too bad i missed it on the big screens.

While i was waiting for 8.30pm to come last nite in the office, i watched this show as i bought the DvD 2 days ago. I've always like Will Smith, and so i'd watch every show he casts in. The most recent 1 was a let down, the zombie show (i 4got the name).

However, 7 Pounds... it's really really good! Here is a little spoiler...

Tim Thomas (Will Smith) took on his Brother's identity as an IRS Agent* Ben Thomas, and went on to help 7 people, changing their life altogether. Tim Thomas was a successful Engineer, owning a beach house by an ocean with a lovely wife. "God created the world in 7 days... in 7 seconds, i lost mine". He lost his wife to a fatal car accident 1 night, and he sets out to find redemption by posing as an IRS agent to help people.

While you're watching the show, you'll be wondering... why is he doing these? What does he benefit from these? Everything is a mystery... until the end. In my mind, i was expecting a totally different ending of the show. I was still trying to figure out what's this man thinking... posing as his Brother and going around helping others and making sure they deserves his help. And in the end, i finally understood... what was in his mind... why is he doing all these... and totally unexpected!

Spoiler: Will Smith died in the end... He gave his heart to Emily. But not because he loves her... but because she needs and deserves his heart.


*an IRS Agent is the Govt Tax Collector. Going around auditing the people who owes the Govt $$ and deciding whether they should pay or their deadline should be extended.

People commenting as Anonymous

Hmm.. since a nong nong time ago... there have been a Anonymous commenter @ Nana's brog... mostly i just glance through his comments lar... Some ppl directed some comments at him, asking/saying why must he comment as Anonymous and blah blah stuffs... dun really remember.

I didn't really bother until Nana come complain about a certain comment he made. I read the comment, and actually i think if Nana knows who this person is, she might just take it as a joke/kidding comment. But because she doesn't know this person (personality/character), she was offended by the comment he made.

So here is my question...
Why do people wanna post as anonymous? If you're reading a certain person's brog, and you know this person... y not just reveal your identity? And if you dunno this brog owner... it is ok to just reveal who u r and juz say that ur a reader of this brog even if the owner doesn't know who u r. The owner wouldn't chase u away if you dun make any rude/undesirable comments i believe!

So why? You're too ashamed of yourself that you can't reveal who you are?
Seriously... this is the only reason i can come to... too ashamed of yourself. And if this is the case, then i believe you know Nana... and you know that you're not likable.
But if so, by doing this, you're just getting yourself more disliked... quite obvious from the comments about you posting as Anonymous. How stupid of you... keke!

Anyways... i just don't like people to act Anonymous lar... either you post with a nick/name, or you dun post at all. Den some ppl will ask.. whats the difference between Anonymous and a nick you dunno who is it..? Anonymous also can be viewed as a nick mahz~ (yes, true... but the word Anonymous is freaking irritating! If you post with a nick and uses that nick on every comment, people will know your style of comments, your cyber personality... but Anonymous is like trying to act mysterious... puiz)

Sigh... back to work!

Been WoW-ing alot recently... gearing up my Warrior. Now she's almost geared up... just 1 piece to go... (P.S. some stupid idiot ninja-ed it from me!)

So yea... think its time to get some life...
Finally heading down to Union tonite for the 1st time after my ops... hope i can dance with not much problem. Definitely deproved alot!!!!! ;D
And then i wanna watch "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans" this Friday~~~ and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" maybe Sat or next week...

And of coz i'm looking forward to my 1st trip with my baby to Taiwan~~~
I wanna thank her for all the planning she's done... i'm lazy to plan lar sorry~

My lappy have been giving me problems lately... I just sent it for repairs recently due to some defects on the graphics... After a couple weeks.. now i'm experiencing some graphics problem while WoW-ing again!!! I'm gonna let it rest awhile to see if it helps... meanwhile i'm playing on my new desktop. Thanks to Clip its performing better now! Still alittle lag in some areas but overall managable. =)

Boring entry i know... nothing much to post about lehz... like i said been WoW-ing alot recently. Look forward to Taiwan ba ;D ciao~
